South Korea won the Women’s Asian Championship 2017! The best Asian side and one of the strongest handball nations in women’s world beat Japan 30:20 (11:15) at the final match on home soil in Suwon. This is 13th Korean title at 16th continental Championship and that describe the best domination of South Korea over Japan, China and other Asian handball countries.
Both team, Korea and Japan, won tickets for the World Championship 2017 which will take place in December 2017 in Germany.
The bronze medal won China by beating Kazahstan 34:26.
Uzbekistan beat Vietnam 41:29, while Iran won over Hong Kong 31:18 to avoid last place in battle for position Number 7.
