Almost 15.00o handball fans worldwide decided that the best player of the Velux EHF Champions League Preliminary Round was left back of Polish vice-champion, Vive Targi Kielce, Michal Jurecki (28). Jurecki (over 5.500 votes) played in great form last three decisive matches for his team in the battle for TOP 16 placement. Polish NT player scored 26 goals in three clashes against MKB Veszprem, Silkeborg and Medvedi, which brought five crucial points for Polish team, who will play against Cimos Koper in the first knock-out phase.
