By on Saturday, 28th August 2010 Slovenia: League without general sponsor? thumbnail

Just two weeks before begining of League competition in Slovenia (11th September), news is that MIK company who was general sponsor of “1. MIK Liga” in last three season (from 2006/07) resigned due misunderstanding with League Board. That is a huge step back for best League at the Balkans and it will be very interesting to see, what are the next moves of Slovenian handball management.

Champions title defending Celje Pivovarna Lasko.

Slovenia has one team in Champions League (Celje Pivovarna Lasko) and one in qualification round (Gorenje).
