One of the tallest player in modern Handball, Danish NT player, Nikolaj Markussen (211 cm) was the “target” of Qatar. Qatar is the organiser of the World Championship 2015 and as a organisers, people from there, obviously have huge ambitions. Year 2012 is the last chance to “buy” some players, who are ready to chance NT t-shirts and make a three-years break according to the rule of International Handball Federation.
As Scandinavian media write, Markussen’s answer was “NO”.
Three months ago, the same “story” was in the Serbian newspapers about Marko Vujin.
