As the first team, Serbia is qualified for the EHF EURO 2012 Semi-final after win over Sweden 24:21 in front of 19.000 fans in “Belgrade Arena”. Serbian captain, Momir Ilic was very happy after sucess (Serbia or Yugoslavia was the last time in the battle for medals at WCh 2001 in France):
- It is really dificult to say something smart now. We are extremely happy. We fought good, playing well in defence, gave our heart for a win – said Momir and add his wish for the semifinal’s rival:
