Draw for Olympic Handball Tournament on 2 June

Twelve teams (six men’s and six women’s) have already qualified for the Olympic Handball Tournaments of London 2012, twelve more will follow after the Olympic Qualification Tournaments, played 6-8 April (men) and 25 – 27 May (women).
Those in total 24 teams will be in the pots on 2 June, when the draw for the Olympic Handball Tournaments will take place in London. Six men’s and six women’s teams will play in two Preliminary Round groups each starting 28 July, the first competition day of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The best four teams of each group qualify for the quarter-finals, followed by semi-finals and the medals matches played on 11 August (women) and 12 August (men).
