One of the biggest handball derby matches in Europe, encounter of two former EHF Champions League winners – PPD Zagreb and RK Celje Pivovarna Laško, will be decisive for the place at VELUX EHF CL TOP 16 this season. Slovenian team must win at least point in hell of “Arena Zagreb” tonight (20hrs) to be able to take the last TOP 16 spot by home win over Besiktas in the last round.
Importance of the match gave idea to RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko marketing department to organize “the last train for TOP 16”. From Celje to Zagreb is about 200 km, nice weekend journey for the fans. All 300 tickets are sold-out, but also some other Celje’s fans decided to go by own cars, so there will be about 500 Slovenians at “Arena Zagreb” tonight…
