One of the raising youth handball projects – GENERATION HANDBALL tournament will be held in famous handball place – Viborg (Denmark) between August 1 – 6. Generation Handball is a handball festival for children and young people between 10 and 23 years of age. Play alone, bring your family and meet other handball players from around the world.
Generation Handball is an international handball meeting for handball players around the globe. Children, young ones and their families will hence forward have the opportunity of participating in the international handball festival in Viborg – one of the most beautiful cities in Denmark.
In the period from August 1 –August 6 2016 Generation Handball is held for the third time. The ambitions are huge. Generation Handball is going to be bigger and therefore we are looking very much forward to welcoming even more lovers of handball to Viborg in the summer of 2016.
The tournament- and festival area
In the tournament- and festival area you will find: 4 outdoor courts, 5 indoor courts, 2 beach handball courts, eating facilities, entertainment, shops, event area with different activities, discos, sports café, tent village, indoor sleeping facilities and much, much more. Also the tournament- and festival area is placed right next to the many stores in the midtown, so there are plenty of opportunities to explore the hometown of Generation Handball.

Season preparation with an international touch
The annual handball festival is not only for Danish teams. In the exiting week in Viborg, the teams have the opportunity of meeting players from various nations.
