In Catalan small city of San Esteve Sesrovies, close to Barcelona, next summer will be organised 33th edition of the famous handball tournament “FESTA MAJOR”. Since 1981 San Esteve is the place where gathering many Spanish, but also teams from the different parts of Europe everything in organisation of active local team CHSES, who celebrate 40 years of foundation.
“FESTA MAJOR” will be held from 19th to 23th of July. Organisers will try to help to all the guests from senior to the youngest categories that time in Spain stay in the unforgetable memories. Mix of handball, tourism and joy in one of the beautiful cities of Europe.
“FESTA MAJOR” 2012 has 62 teams from seven European countries. In addition to the domestic teams, also handball clubs from Italy, Belgium, France, Norway, Poland and Serbia enjoyed their time in Spain last summer. In total 755 players in 10 categories.
Various solution for accomodation and tournament schedule leaves possibility for all the participants to enjoy their free time in exploring Barcelona.
On the four playing courts will play teams begin from senior to the youngest categories – mixed this year (2003-2005)
