Al-Ahly wins Arabian Club Championship

By beating African Club from Tunisia in the final game of the 28th Arabian Championship 29:27, the team of Al-Ahly (Egypt) has won this club competition.  IHF President Dr. Hassan Moustafa handed over the winner’s trophy and the prize money (15.000 US-Dollar) to the captain of the Al-Ahly team, Kareem Elsaid. Hassan Hamdy (Al-Ahly club board President) and Dr Salman Mohammad Al Sedairy, President of the Arabian Handball Federation, handed over the gold medals to the winning team.
The Egyptian Olympic team took the second place in this competition and received a prize money of 10.000 US-Dollar. El Wehda El Saudi ranked third and won prize money of 7.500 US-Dollar.
