Beach Handball Exbition in Lausanne will be held today at 18hrs with the main purpose to convince Dr. Thomas Bach, the President of the International Olympic Committee and other dignitaries from the International Olympic Committee to give the handball discipline “green light” for the family of Olympic sports (2024).
Two ALL STAR matches will be played, both men’s and women’s.

“OLYMPIC SPORT – NOT “SUMMER PRIVATE PARTY”
Year by year, Beach handball has more and more fans across the Globe, but it is obvious that still a big part of the handball family don’t understand what exactly “summer boys and girls” doing between two seasons. A lot of handball Federations still don’t put money in their “sand” teams, looking on this as a good “summer party” of certain number of people. There were some events like in Colombian Cali where some amazing records were set for handball world, but standards and interests of the fans aren’t equal. We had “empty” courts during the European Championship in Lloret De Mar with average “live-strean” offer, so there were no chance that Beach Handball pick up some new worshipers.
Hopefully, Lausanne event will do that. We need Beach Handball, open, modern, trendy, avaliable and suggestive to all the handball people in all the countries. And not only handball. We don’t want more tha “aura” of good summer fun for the certain group of people…
