Seems that champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Banja Luka won’t survive this summer. Despite fantastic handball days in second largest city in BiH during Junior World Championship 2013 two weeks ago, the most succesful team in the handball history of this country – ex Champions Cup winner from 70″s is in serious financial problem. Debt is about 900.000 EUR and the whole Management Board resigned. Club Assembly didn’t made any conclusion at the two previous meetings and the team, who has to prepare for the VELUX EHF Champions League qualification, didn’t even start to practice for the upcoming season.
What will happen with one of the oldest and most traditional handbal teams in Europe, it is still uknown, but current situation tells – nothing good…
