BORING SUNDAY: Easy home task complete by Veszprem and Flensburg

Hungarian MVM Veszprem and German SG Flensburg didn’t give special excitement to their fans in home matches at VELUX EHF Champions League Round 4. “Boring Sunday” is the title for today’s matches in Veszprem and FLENS Arena where home teams won new two points in their aims to fight for the TOP of Group A.

Veszprem easily beat Turkish champions Besiktas MOGAZ 33:25 with their best shooter Momir Ilić in the main role with nine goals. The Serbian left back is back to the game after he was sent off in the last match in Zagreb. His compatriot from Turkish team, DARKO Djukic netted six goals.

SG Flensburg beat RK Celje Pivovarna Laško 30:20 (13:10) to come to the position 4 after four matches. Anders Eggert scored eight goals for the winners, while Croatian right back Šime Ivić was the most efficient among Slovenians with four.

PSG Handball smashed PPD ZAGREB 34:23 (18:8) earlier today.
