Former assistant of Zvonimir Noka Serdarusić on Slovenian bench, Boris Denič is apppointed for a new national coach, after Serdarusic’s withdraw. With Denič, Slovenian Handball Federation signed four years agreement. National coach is proffesional, who can’t work in some team during his contract with the Federation. In that case, if he want to work with some team, contract will be interrupted immediately.
Denič decided to appoint Bojan Čotar for his assistant.
Slovenia, European vice-champion from 2004 didn’t qualified for the next World Championship in Sweden. Also, Slovenia started well in qualification for EUR0 2012 in Serbia, with two wins in group with Portugal, Ukraine and Poland.
