Brazilian girls qualify for knock-out stage!

The host team of the Olympic tournament, Brazil, qualify for the quarter-final with a win over Angola 28:24 (13:13). The African champions were in the match until 16:16, when home team made 4:0 series to went on 20:16. Angolian resistance was broken in 55th minute, when Rocha netted for 27:20, which was the highest advantage of the team led by Morten Soubak.

Ana Paula Belo netted seven goals for the winners. On the oposite side, Natalia Maria Bernard scored eight.
