The Danish champions made fantastic finish of the Preliminary Round by winning away match in Kiel, and in the most crucial one – beating Swiss Kadetten Schaffhausen 37:32 (18:14) to secure sixth place and matches against Hungarian PICK Szeged in the battle for TOP 8.
Skube, Damgaard and Knudsen netted seven goals each for the winners.
Orlen Wisla Plock and Kadetten Schafhausen stayed under the line in this season, like RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko and IFK Kristianstad in other group.
