Budapest to host EHF EURO 2022 in 20.000 seats Arena?

Investments in sport in Hungary are just amazing. State politics to help clubs and national Federations continues with the plan about construction of 20.000 seats Arena which could host Men’s EHF EURO 2022 which will be organized by Hungary and Slovakia.

Hungary will take the bigger part of the tournament with hosting city of Veszprem, Szeged, Debrecen and Budapest. New hall will be built in Szeged, while Veszprem Arena will be reconstructed with bigger number of seats…

Papp Laszlo Arena is the biggest hall in Hungary right now, hosting place of the Women’s EHF CL Final4, but with 12.000 seats.

Hungary’s government has decided to build a stadium that can seat more than 20,000 spectators in Budapest for the European Men’s Handball Championship in 2022, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office said at a regular press briefing, state news portal kormany.hu reported.

    Hahaha! To host a stadium for WINTER? :))) It’s just propaganda, Budapest Arena will host the final. Maybe they take a look at Romania who has about 5-6 new stadiums +30k.
