Official Statement about Katarina Bulatovic’s future: Negotiations only after the end of CL

Many rumours and guesses had been raised lately in connection with the future of one of the best woman handball players Katarina Bulatovic. Olympic silver medallist and EHF EURO
gold medallist Bulatovic signed for Oltchim Rm Valcea in 2012 and participates in EHF Champions League with this club. Alongside the emergence of news about the difficult financial situation of Valcea rumours was spread about the team’s key player Bulatovic too. This situation is very uncomfortable for Bulatovic and she feels that it has a negative influence on her performance. That is why Bulatovic consulted her managers before the game against KRIM and they made a decision.

– Since Katarina feels that rumours and harassing insults have negative effect on her performance she decided she didn’t want to deal with these matters and we didn’t want to
negotiate for a while. She wants to wait for the end of the Champions League season and after that she will decide about her career, so we follow the same practice like in last season. From now on Katarina wants to concentrate exclusively on handball and she doesn’t want to talk to anybody in connection with this topic until the official press release
