BUNDESLIGA: Flensburg loses to HSV Hamburg, a setback in title race

Flensburg-Handewitt may have progressed to the F4 in Cologne this year after beating Vardar Skopje, but after losing to HSV Hamburg with 26-29 in the Bundesliga, the team’s hopes for the title in the Bundesliga are much lower now. With HSV Hamburg taking the two points in 02 Arena, Flensburg and HSV Hamburg, both find themself three points behind Bundesliga leaders, Rhein-Neckar Lowen and THW Kiel. With four rounds left in the Bundesliga, it seems like a two-dog race now for the title.

In Hamburg, Joan Canellas and Kentin Mahe led the home team with 5 goals each, while Steffen Weinhold and Anders Eggert scored 8 and 7 goals each for Flensburg.
