HC Metalurg showed fantastic performance and totally outplayed Danish vice-champions KIF Kolding Kobenhavn at VELUX EHF CL TOP 16. Icelandic coach on Danish bench, Aron Kristiansson was unhappy with the “home advantages” which Macedonians used in the first match in front of 7.000 fans (23:17), rough play and simulations, called for “real handball” in second match which wil his team presents, but he got once again lesson from his older colleague – Lino Červar (30:26):
– We played fantastic handball today. There are two types of handball. One is “run and gun” and second is “knowlegde”. We showed knowlegde, big discipline and character of the team. That is very important in handball. I am proud and happy. Thank you all – said to his colleague, Lino Červar at PRESS conference.
As big sportsman, legendary KIF goalkeeper, Kasper Hvidt admitted that Metalurg “surprised” them in second match:
– They have played with the head. I wasn’t impressed with their play in first match, but today they played much better than we expected. They finding tactical solutions on every tasks which we prepared. They deserved to play at TOP 8. They played very good and left us on -10. In the first match we have seen only Vugrinec, but today also some other guys – concluded Hvidt.

Lino showed how to do it. It was a fantastic game. Koldings coach didn’t have any answer, it was a game of chess where, as always the more intelligent player wins.
