With dominant home wins, both Buducnost and Thuringer are the final teams to book their tickets to the main round. Buducnost were only a goal up at half-time against FTC, but with a superb second half, the Champions League winner from 2012 won the game with 29:21, and qualify along with Midtjylland from Group B.
Thuringer in direct battle beat Hypo NO for the second spot in Group A, and with huge 34:25 qualifies for the main round, while the Austrians are again missing the main road and instead will continue to the Cup Winners Cup.
In Group D, Â BM Bera Bera had their first win of the season in the Champions League against Podravka with 28:19 – but was not enough to win the first place as the Croatian champions won the first game with 29:18.
