Flensburg took their third win in Group B of the EHF Champions League after beating Besiktas 27:20 in Istanbul. Now they are on level points in the Group B with Barcelona and KIF Kolding, but the latter two have a game in hand.
Even though Flensburg started off well in the first half and took a good 5 goals lead, Besiktas managed to fight back, and both teams with at the half time break with a draw, 11:11. In the second half however, the lead Flensburg built could not be reversed back this time by the Turks. Flensburg missed their usually best scorer Eggert, but Glandorf contributed 7 goals this time, while Besiktas’ best was Dacevic with 6.
