In the latest development of events happening in Romania’s female handball, the team with most trophies Oltchim Rm Valcea is having financial difficulties, but it seems that they will be fine for now. An announcement from the Bucharest mayor Oprescu says that the city is planning to invest some money in Oltchim and to save them from the financial problems the team is in now. Apparently the team is to play some of the matches in Valchea and some in Bucharest
Oltchim also started a campaign in which they ask for money from the fans and supporters, and asking for various donations. If the funds needed are not gathered by the 7th of October, most of the top players will be leaving the club.
At the same time, HCM Constanta announced that they will be playing the Champions League matches in Bucharest due to infrastructure-related queries, and the first match there is against Veszprem, early October.
