CONFUSION IN COLOGNE: Lanxess Arena mistake rearranges Germany-Denmark clash

Confusion in Cologne. The friendly match between Germany and Denmark had to be re-scheduled because of mistake of the “Lanxess Arena” management. It was planned that match take place on April 1, but since Ice hockey team Kölner Haie announced dates of home matches of the domestic Play-Off semi-final, it was obvious that their home is occuped by handball on Friday.

German Handball Federation have found a solution to re-arange match for Saturday (15.45), but vice-president Bob Hanning counting negative things after all unnecessary mess:

-This is unacceptable for our fans and sponsors. The sponsors were unable to start their travel booked. The reputational damage is very large. For me, Cologne comes not in question as the World Championship 2019 venue.  Maybe the Hall management will have to set up table tennis boards in that period -said Hanning sarcastically.
