What a performance! Croatia showed good performances in matches with Korea, Serbia and Hungary, but nobody expected that Balic and Co. will gave a “free handball lesson” to the European champion, team of Denmark - 32:21 (14:9). Ulrik Wilbek couldn’t find any solution for attack of Danish team, who was totally out of control against fantastic Croatian defence.
Only in the first 15 minutes, Danes were equal with the winner, but then attack crisis started. Hansen was “cut” by Ivano Balic, Knudsen marked by Gojun and Kopljar. Poor Mogensen, Boesen and Markussen couldn’t find a way to the net of Mirko Alilovic. On the other side was totally different.
