CSM Bucharest conquer Europe!

The only team who didn’t have experience of playing at Final4 of the Women’s EHF Champions League – won the trophy in Budapest! The Romanian CSM Bucharest came to Hungarian capital as the team with lowest chances, but at the end, Kim Rasmussen girls achieved their dreams and became the EHF CL winners!

At the end, after 70 minutes and penalty shot-out, CSM Bucharest beat Hungarian Gyori 29:26 (22:22 – 13:12). The Hungarian team was closer to win the match in regular part and extra-time, but fantastic Gullden and other girls “survived” until the penalty series, when outstanding Brazilian goalie Pessoa became a hero with two saves!

At the end, domestic legend Bradeanu scored for the history!

Swedish machine Isabelle Gullden netted 15 goals for the winners, just confirming the title of the EHF CL TOP scorer. Heidi Loke scored 8 for Gyor.

The third place third time in a row won ŽRK Vardar by beating ŽRK Budućnost 30:28.
