Talant Dujshebaev announced that he will leave bench of Polish national team as responsibility for lack of qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia. Vive Tauron Kielce coach who led Polish “Eagles” to the fourth place at Olympic Games, suffering tough season, in club and national team. Poland are with only a point at the last place of Group 2 behind Serbia 6, Belarus 5 and Romania 4, with only small theoretical chances to play in Croatia next January.
However, president of Polish Handball Federation, Andrzej Kraśnicki, couldn’t confirm Dujshebaev departure:
“I do not take a decision and I do not accept this kind of post match emotional statement. Officially, I did not get any information about the resignation. The coach just came up to me and said he just can not stand it after the match. And in hall I do not talk about such topics. The news came to me from a press conference. I must first meet with the coach and talk to him. If the coach confirms he does not want to work anymore, I will have no choice – said Krasnicki.
