EHF CL 18/19: RNL beat Barca in the first derby of the season – PSG routine win in Ukraine

Rhein Neckar Lowen beat FC Barca Lassa 35:34 (16:13) in the first big derby of the new VELUX EHF Champions League season. The German fans didn’t filled SAP Arena in Mannheim, but more than 6.000 of them witnessed good 40 minutes of home team, who began to fall down after +6 (26:20), to make finish much more interesting.

Hero of the match was Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Palicka who saved conuter-attack shot of the best scorer right wing Gomez Abello 90 seconds before the buzzer to ensure win of his team.
