EHF CL: Skjern blow away Elverum in Danish-Norwegian derby!

One of the pleasant surprises of the VELUX EHF Champions League start, Norwegian Elverum have been trashed by Danish vice-champions Skjern 23:37 (12:18). The biggest Norwegian handball star Bjarte Myrhol, the TOP signing of Danish team, had no mercy for his compatriots and 2.200 home fans. Danes showed strength and capability to finish among two TOP teams in the group and fight for the TOP 16 this season.

Minaur Baia Mare achieved the first victory in European elite competition. Lars Walther boys beat Ukrainian Motor Zaporozhye 35:30 (18:14), Tamas Ivancsik was brilliant with 11 goals, while Pukhouski and Malasinskas netted seven each for the losers.
