EHF Court opens “Knezevic’s case”

The EHF has requested that the EHF Court of Handball initiate disciplinary proceedings against the player, Milena Knezevic, from the club Buducnost for unsportsmanlike conduct that endangered the physical integrity an opponent.

The incident took place in the the last minute of the EHF Women’s Champions League match between Buducnost (MNE) and Györi Audi ETO KC (HUN) on Sunday, 9 March 2014, which took place in Podgorica.

After examination of the claim and of the related documents sent by the EHF, the President of the EHF Court of Handball confirmed the admissibility of the EHF request according to the EHF Legal Regulations.

Both the player and the club have been invited to provide the EHF Court of Handball with a statement in reply to the EHF claim and provide all information deemed significant for the case by Wednesday, 12 March 2014.
