“Video technology is very important part of handball future”, pointed out European Handball Federation vice-president Predrag Boskovic during the closing PRESS conference of the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Zagreb.
“Referees used video check 17 times during the tournament. This is only the beginning as we want to bring video to all the fans in arenas, but also those who are watching us on TV screens and other devices. We want to come closer that all interested know what were decisions of the referees. Maybe some changes going slow, but I am sure that we are going in the right direction – concluded Boskovic.
