Estavana Polman was named Sports Personality of the Year 2019 in Netherlands at NSP Gala.
One of the best female handball players won the gold medal with her national team at IHF Women’s World Championship 2019 in Japan.
Polman succeeds football star Robin van Persie and before him, this title won Arjen Robben, Max Verstappen, Sven Kramer and Annemiek van Vleuten.
The NSP is an organization of Dutch sports journalists, photographers and employees of the various broadcasters.
