The first match between the former brothers – Serbia and Montenegro is scheduled for October 29 in Belgrade’s Pionir hall. Serbian Handball Federation announced free entrance for the historical clash at the start of the Men’s EHF EURO 2016 qualifications, in order to get louder support from dissapointed domestic handbal fans after missed chance to qualify for the Qatar 2015.

Chances of both teams remain the same after two announcement which will cause troubles for both head-coaches. Serbian „Ministry of Defense“, Darko Stanic won’t join the „Eagles“ for the upcoming EHF week. Serbian goalie stayed without a team after mutual agreement with RK Metalurg Skopje, so he will now focus on his proffesional status.

From the Montenegrian side, the bad news is that playmaker Vasko Ševaljević will miss the clashes with Serbia and Iceland. A member of the German TSV Hannover Burgdorf has to become a father until the end of October, which means that he will stay at home.
