Gislason: We have to beat one of the best home teams – Ortega: F4 is our goal!

One of the most interesting second match at the VELUX EHF CL 1/4 final will be played in Veszprem:

– This was tough match. We knew that Veszprem didn’t show everything in our Preliminary Round clash in Kiel. Today we had a lot of problems in goal scoring. Veszprem’ s defense and goalkeeper were strong. I am happy that we won besides of that. Now we have match against one of the best home teams in Europe. If we wouldn’t be fantastic there, we won’t travel to Cologne. Cologne is our greatest goal. Tonight match showed that we believe in ourselves. This was fourth tough match in a week and a half. Small break will help us with regeneration. We lost in Veszprem at Preliminary Round, so we are prepared for revenge – said THW’s coach Alfred Gislason.

Antonio Carlos Ortega knows how big chance missed his team:

– It was good match on the highest level. In the latest phase we dropped six goals lead, but besided of that I am proud on my team and what we made here. Now we have chance to qualify for the F4 in front of our fans. That is our goal, but it will be very tough because Kiel is capable to win as an away team..
