Hungarian Gyor and Romanian HCM Baia Mare are the last two teams who will compete at the Women’s EHF Champions League 2015/2016. Both teams, last year quarterfinalists, showed clear domination during qualification tournaments. Romanian vice-champions Baia Mare beat Danish Esbjerg 32:21 in the final in front of home fans. The TOP scorer in the winning team was experienced left wing Elisei.
Even without home fans support, Hungarian Gyor showed TOP quality against home squad Glassverket 30:21 (13:15) in Norway. Nicky Groot was TOP scorer with 8 goals.
