The biggest media story in Germany these days is possible sponsorship deal between Turkish Airlines and THW Kiel. It seems that the biggest brand in German handball looking for a new partnership since new deal with Provinzial isn’t announced. Club announced short trip to Istanbul, where they will play a friendly match with domestic champions Besiktas Mogaz and meet with the possible sponsors.
One of the strongest air companies has a lot of sponsorship deals in various sports, but this one could be a milestone for handball sport and market in the near future.
The first names linked with the possible Turkish Airlines handball investment are Danish shooter Mikkel Hansen and one of the best left wings Uwe Gensheimer. Hansen is still under contract with PSG Handball, while Uwe still has one more year deal with Rhein Neckar Lowen (2016).
