HC Meshkov Brest fined 5,000 €

The Arbitration Tribunal of the European Handball Federations (EHF) decided to fine HC Meshkov Brest with 5,000 €, after the official complaint lodged by HC Metalurg Skopje, regarding the number of players on field. HC Meshkov Brest put 16 players on the field, even though the maximum allowed is 14. The Arbitration Tribunal decided also to confirm the result of the match, which means that Brest will keep their advantage going into the second match in Skopje.

In addition to this, the Arbitration Tribunal has also asked the EHF to provide a second delegate as supervisor for the second match in Skopje, in order to ensure the implementation of the EHF regulations regarding the match.
