One of the most ambitious project in the Women’s handball in Europe, Romanian team HCM Baia Mare appointed a new head-coach – Tone Tiselj. Experienced 53 years-old Slovenian expert signed contract which will keep him in Romania until summer 2017. Tiselj is coming as one of the coaches who lifted the trophy of the EHF Champions League – twice! He won EHF CL with Slovenian TOP team, RK Krim Mercator in 2001 and 2003.
One of his greatest moments is also silver medal with Slovenian NT at Men’s EHF EURO 2004 in front of home crowd in Ljubljana.
He worked also in ZRK Budućnost Podgorica. His last job was with RK Krim Mercator, but he left after team suffered serious financial problems last winter…
HCM Baia Mare have plenty of world class players in the roster as Alexandrina Do Nascimento, Camilla Herrem, Paula Unguareanu, Barbara Arenhart, etc.
They gained place to the EHF CL TOP 12 this season, but pointless at the start of the run for quarterfinals…

Buceschi is a great coach and he realised great things with HCM, but I think this change was necesar because of the poor results in Champions League. This is a really good team and they cant do better. Good luck Tone!

You are a great coach, come back to the HCM team.
We miss you! A great man a great character. He handled very well the team. It will be hard for Tone Tielj to replace Costica Buceschi.

The ex-coach Costica Buceschi is one of the best coach. The romanian supporters are crying after Costica Buceschi. HCM Baia Mare want the ex- coach to come back at the team.
