HSG Wetzlar plans: Balic sports director, Spiler and Zelenovic new forces?

German website mitelhessen.de close to HSG Wetzlar, published interesting story about future of Croatian star Ivano Balic. Balic, as his own handball school from Split, published last week, extended contract with the team, but club’s officials denied to confirm that only a day after. Handball Mozzart will stay at the club until 2015, when he will be appointed for sports director of the team.

In solution that Balic finish his career this summer, his replacement could be Slovenian playmaker David Spiler from Belarussian Meshkov Brest. Spiler and Balic played together at RK C.O Zagreb from 2010 until 2012, and Spiler is ready to sign for Wetzlar and turn down offers from SG Flensburg, HSV Handball and Fuchse Berlin.

HSG Wetzlar plan to replace right back Daniel Valo with Serbian youngstar from RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko, Nemanja Zelenovic. A 24 years old lefthander from Celje would play alongside Norwegian player Tonessen.

HSG’s left wing Kevin Schmidt is at the exit door of the team. Currently injured, German NT member will sign contract with HSV Handball and replace Torsten Jansen, who will end his career…
