Israel: Ramat Hasharon show comeback signs

SGS Ramat Hasharon has started the season with the club’s biggest budget ever. But very bad performances led the management to change the head coach and bring the israeli national team assistant coach, Assaf Levy.
 
On Friday he had his first major test with the struggling chmpions, Hapoel Rishon LeZion. It was balanced match until the 43th minute, when the reds led by 16:17 with a great performance by the bosnian goalkeeper – Pedja Dejanovic. 
 
From that moment on – great offensive play by Levy’s players was too much for the champions. Ramat Hasharon scored easy goals because of pathetic mistakes by the reds and won 28:21.
 
Hapoel’s city rivals and the leaders, Maccabi Rishon LeZion made and easy job for themselves and beat H.C Beer Sheba 31:20 after quick 11:3 lead. Saar Frenkel’s stay with 100% league wins.
 
From the 2nd place, Hapoel Ashdod beat Bnei Herzliya 34:20 with 7 goals by Dor Kalderon. In The bottom of the table, Hapoel Ramat Gan lost again – 23:25 to Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin and H.C Holon beat Hapoel Kiryat Ono 33:25.
 
H.C Ness Ziona conquered the 4th place again after 26:23 on Ironi Rehovot. The orange tigers took a 18:13 lead in the beginning of the second half and that was too much for Rehovot.
 
On Monday: 19:30 – Hapoel Rishon LeZion – Hapoel Ramat Gan, Maccabi Rishon LeZion – Ironi Rehovot, 20:00 – Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin – Ironi Rehovot, H.C Ness Ziona – Hapoel Ashdod, 20:30 – Bnei Herzliya – H.C Holon, Hapoel Kiryat Ono – SGS Ramat Hasharon.
