Israeli Cup Quarter Final: The holders and Ramat Hasharon already out

When the champions and cup holders, Hapoel Rishon LeZion, started the season they knew that it will be a tough one. When SGS Ramat Hasharon started the season they thank that they will be great with historic budget. Both of them didn’t believe that they will finish their way in the israeli cup in the quarter final.

Hapoel hosted Hapoel Ashdod for an unbelievable dramatic match. Novak Boskovic equaled the match in a 9 line last second throw and sent the match for a first overtime. In the end of the first overtime, Gabor Langhans, equaled the match in the very same way.

 The winning goal of the middle back, Omri Kushmero, came in the 79:55 minute, 35:34. The management of Hapoel Rishon LeZion will have to do some changes if they want to fight for the championship.

SGS Ramat Hasharon met H.C Holon, who finished the first round in the 11th place. Surprisingly, Holon was the better team thru all the 60 minutes and won 29:27.

In other matches, H.C Ness Ziona continued the fantastic season with 28:25 on H.C Beer Sheba and Maccabi Rishon LeZion beat Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin 39:21.

In the winter break, the israeli national team will meet USA for friendly matches.
