Ivano Balic going to MKB Veszprem?!?!

Datum:27.04.2012 | Autor:Borjan Zafirovski

Shock transfer could be on the horizon. The best Croatian handball player of all times, Ivano Balic, might be leaving the Croatian champion, and join the dominant in the past few years Hungarian champion, MKB Veszprem. Zagreb CO announced that the club’s budget needs to be lowered, which is partly already done by Manuel Strlek going to Kielce next season, and Gojun joining Atletico Madrid. However, the most interesting news is that Ivano Balic could be on his way to Veszprem, and thus make Veszprem one of the most serious candidates to play at the Final Four.

Balic and Croatia won the bronze medal at the European Championship 2012 in Serbia, and with his club still have a chance to advance to the Final Four in Koln this year, but a surprise in Kiel is needed.
