Karabatic brothers stay in Paris until 2022!

Paris Saint-Germain Handball is pleased to announce that Nikola and Luka Karabatic have both signed three-year contract extensions. The France centre-half and pivot are now be linked to the Club until June 2022.

After arriving at the club in July 2015, Nikola and Luka have become key members of the team, playing 92 and 95 matches respectively in all competitions for 413 and 247 goals.

Fate has smiled on the brothers in 2017, with Nikola earning a third World Player of the Year award and Luka adding a second World Championships title to his record, and now they are headed to Cologne with the Rouge et Bleu for the Velux EHF Champions League Final4, looking to claim club handball’s most prestigious prize.

After two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, Nikola and Luka have added six trophies to their cabinets, with two French league titles (2016, 2017), one Coupe de la Ligue (2017) and two Troph̩es des Champions (2016, 2017) Рall the while remaining key figures in the France set-up.

After signing their new deals, Nikola and Luka Karabatic said: “We’re very happy to continue the adventure with Paris Saint-Germain Handball and we’re proud of the confidence the Club has shown in us. Being a part of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball project is a fabulous adventure – in both sporting and human terms – in a playing career. Together, we will have plenty more great ambitions to share in the years to come.”
