Maccabi Rishon LeZion win the Israeli Cup

Maccabi Rishon LeZion are the new the Israeli Cup holders after 31:28 on the surprising H.C Holon.
 
The club with the biggest budget in the Israeli Handball history met the tough players of Nissim Falach that qualified to the historic final from the relegation playoffs zone. It was a very tied match. The score was pretty much equal until 11:11. For the half time, Maccabi went with 14:12 with the help of the final’s MVP, Yirmi Sidi.
 
Saar Frenkel’s players ran for 18:14 and Holon came back to 22:21. Afterward, the yellows took a 29:26 lead and Holon scored two consecutive, but it was too much and the better team won 31:28.
