Nenad Maksic in HC Partizan Beograd

A former Yugoslav national player with 127 appearances and two bronze medals (WC 1999 and WC 2001) from Egypt and France, Nenad Maksic (38) decided to help Partizan Beograd to achieve placement in Regional League (“S” League), which will be made by Balkans countries, Austria and Hungary. More than half of his career, Maksic played in Slovenia for Prevent (Sloven Gradec), where he was the best scorer of League and Celje Pivovarna Lasko. He went back to Serbia in 2006, where he won two national titles with Crvena zvezda and played in Champions League. In summer 2008 at age of 36, he decided to help his home city team, Smederevo, to achieve promotion to Superliga and they had success.

Serbia will have two teams in Regional League. That’s why Partizan will have strong fight in almost equal Super Liga competition with Crvena zvezda, Metaloplastika and Kolubara Lazarevac.
