NEW COACH: Dragan Djukic leads Montenegro

Montenegrian men’s national handball team has a new coach – Dragan Djukic. The 54-years old Serbian coach will try to ensure placement at Men’s EHF EURO 2018 after poor start on which Montenegro won only a point in two matches with Sweden and Russia.

Djukic will replace Ljubomir Obradovic, who resigned after his training at the start of November EHF week was interupted by player Stevan Vujovic and two more guys, who were dissatisfied with their status in the national team.

Djukic was a coach of Great Britain, Macedonia, Israel and Switzerland, but also RK Vardar and PICK Szeged. He is currently at the position of HC Maccabi Tel Aviv coach with whom he qualified for the EHF Cup Group stage.
