The old world record at one game attendance have been beaten. The new world record has been set yesterday at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt where Rhein-Neckar Lowen met HSV Hamburg. A total of 44,189 fans have attended the game between the two Bundesliga giants. In the so-called “Tag des Handballs”, was a real handball holiday with Germans proving that handball really has a special place in the sports of the country. The game ended with a victory of Rhein-Neckar Lowen who have won with 28:26 against HSV Hamburg.
