NORWAY GO FOR HAT-TRICK: Domination of older Scandinavian sisters!

Norway are at the semi-final of the Women’s Olympic tournament! In the battle of two Scandinavian teams at Future Arena, only one was ready to fight for the victory – the golden one who are fighting for the golden Olympic hat-trick after triumphs in Beijing and London. Norway – Sweden 33:20 (19:7).

It wasn’t match on the level of Olympic quarter-final between two great teams, simply because Thorir Hergeirsson girls made had impressive start 10:2 in opening 13 minutes. The Swedish squad couldn’t find the way to get back in the match, and their resistance was practicaly over until the half time break.

Grimsbo was fantastic between the posts with 18 saves, while Oftedal ended match with six goals, one more than Loke and Herrem. Isabelle Gullden scored nine for the Swedish team.
