Ola Lindgren overtakes Finnish national team

The Swedish coach Ola Lindgren overtakes Finnish national team in the next four years! The contract was sign on 2+2 with the clear aim to ensure qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2022.

– I want to thank Kaj Kek and his team for a good work, but now is the time to move on. The main goal is to qualify for Men’s EHF EURO 2022. This is a big bet on us – of course men’s national team, but i believe it is a big thing all over Finnish handball – said Jari Henttonen, chairman of the Federation.

– I am looking forward to the national team fight. I’m probably a mix of German and Swedish coach. I want players to play as a team and to bring every player a little extra to play, which matches will be won – said Lindgren who worked with a certain success at IFK Kristianstad and Swedish national team.
