They have world-class players on every position and the two wingers Uwe Gensheimer and Luc Abalo are two players that I have looked up to for many years, said Johan Hansen, who as awarded best right wing in Round 4 on the VELUX EHF Champions League.

Left wing of Bjerringbro-Silkeborg Stefan Hundstrup shares Johan Hansen’s excitement ahead of the game against Paris SG. Stefan Hundstrup reached the VELUX EHF Final4 in 2012 and he has won not less than five Danish Championships but he still looks forward to another big game.

– It is going to be a huge game and of cause, it is an exciting game to play. We know that the odds are against us but it is a special game and we will try to see if we can keep up with Paris. Hopefully, we are playing in a nice atmosphere, so I think, we can look forward to a great afternoon, told Stefan Hundstrup.

There is no doubt that Paris SG is the huge favourites, but Bjerringbro-Silkeborg is ready to fight for the big upset. They know what kind of challenge they face but nothing is impossible in sports.

– We will enter the court and do our very best and if everybody plays on his top level, it can happen. We have seen how Wisla Plock managed to challenge Paris and if they can, we can do it too. We believe in ourselves but we know it will be extremely difficult to win, told Johan Hansen, and Stefan Hundstrup agrees.

– We need to eliminate all our technical faults and then we want to succeed with our counter-attacks. Many things needs to work out for us in order to win. We need to do well in our defense and have great goalkeepers while their goalkeepers do not do so well. We will try to do our best and see if we can match Paris, said Hundstrup.
